Dr. Sambit Das is an eminent Endocrinologist and Diabetologist in the state of Odisha. He currently heads the Department of Endocrinology at KIMS Medical College & Super Speciality Hospital and leads Endeavour Clinic — Centre for Obesity, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Bhubaneswar. He is also a visiting senior consultant at Apollo Sugar Clinics.
He excelled academically from his school days, remaining a topper throughout his MBBS programme and earning the title of Best Graduate in 2001, alongside several Gold Medals. Dr. Das went on to complete his MD in Internal Medicine in 2006, followed by a stint as Senior Resident in Endocrinology at SGPGI, Lucknow. In 2009 he obtained his DM in Endocrinology from the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh, and has since been associated with several research projects in the field.
